The evolution of FarmIQ
Founded in 2010, FarmIQ was created in a Primary Growth Partnership (PGP) between government and the industry. The original project goal was to improve red meat value chain efficiency by allowing information to flow freely between farmers, processors and retailers.
In 2017 the PGP ended and FarmIQ became a fully incorporated New Zealand business, joined by a group of passionate industry shareholders. Today FarmIQ services the red meat, fibre and dairy industry in Aotearoa and in 2021 added Farmax digital farm modelling to its product portfolio.
