Craig Trotter
Business Manager - Upper South Island
Originally hailing from East Otago, Craig has spent the past 15 odd years working with farmers improving and sustaining animal and business performance across the dairy and beef sectors.

With a background in ruminant nutrition from Lincoln and farm management consultancy throughout the Upper South Island, he became interested in being part of the FarmIQ team to utilise the software as a tool to measure and manage farm data leading to more efficient, productive and resilient family farming businesses. As such, Craig joined the team in September 2020 and travels throughout the South Island working with existing and new farmers alike to make the most from how they want to utilise FarmIQ now and into the future.

Lou Broad
Business Manager - Lower North Island
From shearing sheds in Otago to milking sheds in the Manawatu, Lou brings many years of agriculture experience from across the country.

Lou has worked for FarmIQ for several years and jumped at the chance to get out and connect with the farming community. It's safe to say that Lou knows the system like the back of her hand, and her farmer-focus Is second to none.

Russell MacKay
Business Manager - Lower South Island
From a 150 year old family farm in eastern Southland, Russell MacKay has lived and breathed farming and agribusiness since he could walk. After graduating from Lincoln University, Russell has gained experience across a variety of roles, including; fencing, shepherding, agri-tourism, working the family farm and rural banking - as well as a stint dog sledding in Canada for a change of scenery.

Being from a long-standing family farm, Russell appreciates the need to adopt new management techniques and technology in order for our industry to remain the backbone of New Zealand. This is why Russell is passionate about FarmIQ and why his family are active users of FarmIQ. With his background in agribusiness banking, Russell most appreciates how FarmIQ makes everything management easier while showing opportunities where more profit is to be made. Russell covers the lower South Island, and enjoys travelling around the area and yarning to existing customers and farmers who are interested in how FarmIQ can take their business to the next level.

Tim Orlando-Reep
Business Manager - Upper North Island
Tim, born and bred on a farm and the agricultural sector, has also been involved in the consumer end, managing and owning restaurants in Auckland after leaving Massey University with a Business degree in Enterprise Development.

Tim enjoys working with FarmIQ on a daily basis on his beef block in the North west Waikato, and finds the time management and economic advantages of FarmIQ are unquestionable - giving him more time to get out and about discussing with other like-minded farmers about achieving their organisational goals with FarmIQ.

Rachel Maughan
Account Manager - North Island
Growing up on a dairy farm in the Rangitikei, Rachel went on to complete a Bachelor of AgComm at Lincoln University. Rachel worked in Rural Insurance and for other Agri-Tech businesses before joining FarmIQ in our Support team.

Rachel brings extensive system knowledge and is passionate about providing great service and solutions that add value and ease to the day-to-day recording of your farming operation.

Irene Le Fleming
Account Manager - South Island
Irene grew up in Taranaki, Central Otago and South Canterbury in a generational dairy family, inspiring her to pursue a career in Agriculture. Irene completed a Bachelor of AgComm and two Diplomas in Ag and Farm Management Systems at Lincoln University. Irene has since worked on farms in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand before joining FarmIQ Software.

She has been fully immersed in the industry with hands-on experience and a background in customer service and farm office management. As a result, Irene brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the complexity involved in running a day-to-day farm system. In addition, Irene enjoys adding value and simplifying recording key performance indicators, which assist in managerial decision making on-farm.
