About us
We make farm management software that powers Kiwi farmers
Our mission
We’re extremely passionate about our farmers’ intergenerational success and the New Zealand pastoral sector. Our mission is to be the platform of choice for New Zealand farmers by enabling them to make productive, profitable and sustainable decisions.
Better together
To take our partnership with farmers one step further, in 2021 we acquired FARMAX, a modelling and decision support tool developed for pastoral farmers in New Zealand. Together, FarmIQ and FARMAX provide the most complete farm management system solutions with both recording and predictive modelling functionality. Using both tools provides a holistic view of the whole farm system, not just profit, production and sustainability, but people, land and processes as well.
Get your plan right with FARMAX and monitor and measure your real-time success using FarmIQ.

With a depth of experience across all relevant business disciplines,
this team is leading FarmIQ towards a strong and sustainable future.

The evolution of FarmIQ
Founded in 2010, FarmIQ was created in a Primary Growth Partnership (PGP) between government and the industry. The original project goal was to improve red meat value chain efficiency by allowing information to flow freely between farmers, processors and retailers.
In 2017 the PGP ended and FarmIQ became a fully incorporated New Zealand business, joined by a group of passionate industry shareholders. Today FarmIQ services the red meat, fibre and dairy industry in Aotearoa and in 2021 added FARMAX digital farm modelling to its product portfolio.
